Good budget hotel

Ibis is a good budget hotel but if you have to be extra careful with their amenities, they charge for everything that you break or is missing. Whole time we were worried what if housekeeping misplaces some of them, we will be charged for it. They are misers when it comes to condiments. We need more milk to drink our coffee and one is not sufficient but the house keeping lady refused to give additional condiments saying 1 per day. That was very bad. Ibis needs to treat their guests more hospitably. I have never been to a hotel who has a list with cost of what is provided in the room. The mini bar had nothing apart from water. The room hardly has any place to keep the water kettle and cups and would tend to fall easily. I would place them in the cupboard to avoid them from falling. The girls at the reception were nice, big thanks to eye and ja. The hotel was centrally located and very neat. Overall we enjoyed our trip but just did'nt feel hospitable enough.

Good hotel in budget

Iris at kata is a good hotel in a budget, the hotel is nice & clean. Rooms are small but good. The pool in the night has a very good vibe with lights around. Walk to the beach is a 10-12min from the hotel & not ideal for kids or older people as bit of up will walk, the good thing is kata night market is very close to the hotel. Unfortunately due to some issue there was no wi-fi at most areas of the hotel except for the room.

Hotel good for price paid, patong location preferable

It’s better to stay near patong beach, no good places to eat indian/vegetarian food near kata beach + it’s boring as compared to patong + you will keep paying baht (1-2k inr) every-time you have to go somewhere. It’s mostly self service for luggage and everything, vegetarian pizza and snacks were available, good hotel for the price paid.

Near to Kata beach but very far from nightclubs and famous Bangla Road. But if you want to stay in a peaceful area. This is the right choice. and with family it is awesome. Staff is really nice and supportive and cleanliness 10/10.
