While my overall stay at Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham Dubai Deira was excellent, there are a few small areas where the experience could be even better. Firstly, although the room was clean and comfortable, I noticed that some of the bathroom fittings could benefit from minor maintenance or an upgrade to give a fresher, more luxurious feel. The lighting in the room could also be slightly brighter, as it felt a bit dim during the evening. The breakfast spread was very good, but adding a few more healthy options – like fresh juices, more variety of fruits, and plant-based choices – would make it even more appealing for health-conscious travelers. Service at peak breakfast hours can feel slightly rushed, so having additional staff available during busy times might help improve the overall dining experience. Lastly, while the location is convenient, more detailed guidance about nearby attractions, metro routes, and local experiences at the reception would be a nice touch for guests who are new to Dubai. These are small improvements, but implementing them would make an already great hotel experience even more memorable and competitive.

The service is really good and the staffs are really polite. The room is very neat and tidy. The service is top notch. I loved everything about the hotel, so it's my suggestion that you should try this hotel, and this hotel is also very affordable. The price range budget friendly. And the most important thing Is it's near the airport like it's just 6 km away from the airport, and even the Metro is near the hotel. It's like two minutes walking distance to Metro so it is in the Best location.

MMT please stop listing this hotel in your website .The worst hotel I have ever stayed . No cold water at all in rooms . Cannot take shower its piping hot , its extremely hazardous for child. Upon arrival no one explain , we tried to raise complain plumber came and said water is like this talk to reception, we called reception and receptionist answered ma’am all room water is same . And No solution provided , I wanted to cancel booking but since it was prepaid booking I don’t wanna follow long process. Upon checkout I raised complain to receptionist again and receptionist said you could have ask for bucket . OMG 4 star hotel and asking guest to use bucket and mug to take shower with hot water . Upon check-in requested non connected room , I guess receptionist heard I need connecting room , as he did exactly opposite of what I have requested. I could hear every speech -word what other people talking in another room . It was my worst experience ever in dubai , I don’t know how it categorized as 4 star hotel. Outdated TV cannot connect to devices or play youtube. Technician came to our room to fix TV and upon enquiring found we can pay and get OTT access to connect to tv . Common you are proving tv in room but of no use , and you wanna charge more for tv services . What I notice they keep 2 big water bottles in room with price sticker at first I thought why later came to know its new way to selling water ,not to provide cold shower water and let people use bottle water to wash face and head probably its planned business .

Checking takes more time, the room is well maintained but the cleanliness is worse, In my room outside I found a bunch of hairs washroom dustbin is in worse conditions. The washroom doesn't have a dental kit I asked them to deliver take 30 minutes.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I wasn’t expecting too much. BUT, I was already a disappointed with the check-in experience. I had to wait for about an hour before I could finally check in. Anyhow, I really appreciate the Filipina receptionist who sincerely apologized for the delay. Regarding with the room, it was smaller than expected from the photos. I was also hoping for a smart TV atleast, but none of the rooms have one. Overall, the stay was okay for the price. I hope next time the check-in process is faster, and it will be great if they could add smart TVs in the rooms, since guests are mostly there to relax, a little entertainment would definitely make the stay better.
