Excellent property, service & location - room allocation missed the mark

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the colombo hilt-on for 2 nights with our family. We booked a deluxe room with sea view and twin beds through makemytrip. While the property exceeded our expectations in terms of its excellent maintenance, amenities, and top-notch service, we were disappointed to find that our room did not offer the promised sea view. Despite this hiccup, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The Hilton Colombo's location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of the indian ocean and easy access to colombo's key attractions. The staff were warm, friendly, and efficient, ensuring our every need was promptly attended to. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable, and the amenities were modern and functional. We appreciated the ample breakfast spread and enjoyed our meals at the Hilton Colombo's restaurants. While we would highly recommend the colombo hilt-on for its overall excellence, we hope the management takes steps to ensure room allocations match bookings. A sea view would have elevated our experience to perfection.

Property in the exact city centre with a walking distance to beach, parliament building, dutch shopping mall and other local shopping area. Good amenities with amazing breakfast options even for vegetarians. The only issue we faced was the room. We had informed in advance about double bed and baby cot but we were given a room with 2 single beds and no baby cot. When we told again about our requirements that we had requested for we were shifted to another floor that was under construction and in the day we could hear a lot of noises. Apart from this a good experience.
