It was an excellent stay! The food was excellent and the staff was superb! There was a staff member who was particularly helpful, accommodating and shared his knowledge about Sri Lanka with us. Unfortunately I did not get his name but it appeared he assisted the front desk and also carried our luggage to our room. Miss Shashsa at front desk was superb, she was so polite and pretty that it was more comfortable our stay. Fairview Hotel is a package I can say in terms of location, staff, food everything. Any future plan of Colombo yes I will check in with Fair View Hotel only.

The room has a decent view on the ocean, walking distance to the beach. Authentic south indian vegetarian food at a walking distance as well the room was large enough and very clean. Staff very courteous.
