The hotel good and well located near old Dubai but needs renovation for rooms. The rooms are very old even furniture which is make this hotel reputation down. This is the second time I book this hotel coz I have seen they renovate their lobby but rooms are the same.

The location is , I will say excellent super and the best , u need 2 mins walk for old souq & 1 drms boat ride to deira. And most importantly u are bang in meena bazaar everything just come down and u are there..!!!!! Multi approachable place.!!! If at all next time , it will be most probably THE GRAND ASTORIA.!💐👍😍

had a wonderful stay at Grand Astoria Hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to key attractions and transport. The service was prompt, polite, and very professional throughout my stay. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!

The hospitality was amazing. I was travelling 7 months pregnant and with 5 year old toddler. The staffs were very kind and accommodating. We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the hotel and the arrangement was elegant.

1.the bed was not king size,even though i filter it with king size bed in tha mmt app. the receptionist told us that you hv to take deluxe room for the big size bed. i need the king size bed because we 3 in faimly. 2. they put expired milk and coffee in the desk. i hv taken the pics as a prrof.

Room AC was not working properly even after switching off it was working ( no proper service) and when we approached reception he said you should have checked before taking room completely unprofessional response. I am not buying house and this is not accepted we were called on the day of check out to leave early due to customer waiting (completely unprofessional) breakfast cutlery and eating dishes were were old and broken cups were kept for tea and coffee there was no proper welcome while entry we asked for a single empty plate and spoon for our child in room and it was told that it will be charged why someone will pay for plate in spoon in hotel? dental kit, room slippers, dental kit etc all were chargeable, like 3 dhs etc, these all might be minimum cost for people in dubai but the traveller's from outside need to know in advance for such expenses. they should either addnin there total cost in booking or give information in excluding notes. it is 40 yrs old hotel without upgradation with the new era India hotel and services are much better with such booking cost

Its a 3* hotel at the end of the day! basic room services are available. As for toiletries, soaps and towels are free and anything else is chargeable. They have an centralised air conditioning system from the ice age with no temperature control, either its at zero degrees or 50. Decent housekeeping staff!
