The best thing about this Hotel is it's location. Being probably oldest government property it got it's prize location. The restaurants, especially rooftop one, are good and is always buzzing with lots of guests. Services are prompt, food quality very good. The buffet at breakfast is also well spread and delicious. Room interiors, air conditioning, shower tap and other equipments are all very good. The check in and check out process was smooth too. Overalls a truly five star experience.

The location of the ريكس هوتل is the best feature of this ريكس هوتل. Combined with the rooftop cafe and gym with a view it’s a must stay in hcm at least once. The one terror collie does can be a little confusing with ramps and turns which remind you of the complicated / charming past of the ريكس هوتل itself.
Pillows were very nice. The room had a old world charm with rich wood interiors which were not overtly done.

Best part of this ريكس هوتل is its location in district 1 and the place is happening even in midnight. Very safe place to stay and excellent proximity of varieties of restaurants (including Indian food). Staff is also very polite and helpful. I would definitely prefer to stay in this ريكس هوتل for my next stay in Ho Chi Minh city.

Location is best in city but room service requires improvement. Tea/coffee in room was never adequate and they were very ready to supply even one extra tea bag or sugar. Spa was nice. We feel that we were discriminated and allowed booked suit on a side which had construction activity and sound until 11 pm in night.
