The hotel is part of a beautifully designed complex that includes a luxurious mall, which was definitely a highlight of my stay. The mall had a great selection of high-end stores and restaurants, making it very convenient for shopping and dining without leaving the premises. However, I was disappointed with the hotel room itself. For a 5-star property, I expected more in terms of room quality and amenities. The room felt underwhelming and did not match the standard set by the rest of the hotel. Most disappointing was the lack of a proper view — instead of overlooking the city or landscape, my room faced the interior corridor, which felt closed off and lacked privacy. Overall, while the attached mall adds value to the experience, the hotel room did not live up to the expectations of a luxury stay. I would recommend staying in La vela Saigon instead.

Stay was good, recommend for business travellers. Breakfast a nice spread, and very fast and reachable place for commute.

The hotel cancel-led the booking on the date of check in as they claim to have overbooked (the mail from hotel to mm t was apparently sent few hours after the standard check in time. Forced to search for another hotel at the last minute

It was very comfortable stay with nice hospitality from the staff. Good spread of morning breakfast, rooms are nice and clean + spacious

Location is the best. Hotel also very concierge and travel desk were very helpful but the reception was rude and totally non cooperative. We stayed 6 nights and we're vegetarian the breakfast was horrible so we requested coconut water instead but they refused. They did not bother to give us any veg options also. Overall very non cooperative if they improve their management its a great place to live in because of their location

My stay was beyond my expectations. The room size was big and the property was very clean. Very good staff and very helpful with my disabled husband. Loved my stay.

Clean and neat rooms. Breakfast buffet was good. Walk able distance to the malls.

Nice location, friendly staff, sumptuous breakfast with lots of varieties, also allowed me free room upgrade also honoured my request for late check out, overall very nice stay, no complains.

Best part of this hotel is its location in district 1 and the place is happening even in midnight. Very safe place to stay and excellent proximity of varieties of restaurants (including Indian food). Staff is also very polite and helpful. I would definitely prefer to stay in this hotel for my next stay in Ho Chi Minh city.

The best thing about this Hotel is it's location. Being probably oldest government property it got it's prize location. The restaurants, especially rooftop one, are good and is always buzzing with lots of guests. Services are prompt, food quality very good. The buffet at breakfast is also well spread and delicious. Room interiors, air conditioning, shower tap and other equipments are all very good. The check in and check out process was smooth too. Overalls a truly five star experience.

Location is best in city but room service requires improvement. Tea/coffee in room was never adequate and they were very ready to supply even one extra tea bag or sugar. Spa was nice. We feel that we were discriminated and allowed booked suit on a side which had construction activity and sound until 11 pm in night.

The location of the hotel is the best feature of this hotel. Combined with the rooftop cafe and gym with a view it’s a must stay in hcm at least once. The one terror collie does can be a little confusing with ramps and turns which remind you of the complicated / charming past of the hotel itself.
Pillows were very nice. The room had a old world charm with rich wood interiors which were not overtly done.
