We had a very pleasant stay at the Lexington Hotel on our recent trip to NYC, unlike the other reviews I have read on some websites regarding this hotel. Yes, the rooms are slightly dated and it is an old property, but no complaints. The rooms offering is basic - no amenities like tea/coffee maker etc. but we were promptly sent an electric kettle when we asked for it. Check in was smooth. They do offer complimentary drinking water daily. The location of the hotel is EXCELLENT. Due to the location, the hotel can be noisy (esp at night) but nothing major and quite manageable. They do have a resort fee of $35 + tax per night to be paid at the time of check in - which can be used against breakfast or a credit of 34$ per day at the bar. Also, Marci was kind enough to offer us a late check out option which was helpful. All in all, a great stay.

Location is very good, 15-20 minutes walk to Times square, 7-10 minutes walk to the Central station, 25 minutes walk to the central park. Hotel is clean, water available at the reception 24/7, didn't try their restaurant though, several food trucks are available nearby in the street. Music is too loud in the lift, very annoying at early morning while taking the lift.

This hotel on the 51st is a good business stay if you have to be in and around Manhattan for work. Rooms are very small but if it is just in and out after work, a good choice with enough places to eat in and around.

Only location advantage. Rest needs lot of improvement. Another good thing is quote mentioned in room and lobby. Having Starbucks within hotel also is an advantage otherwise you don't get tea coffee in hotel. Air Conditioning is making noise.
