The Columbia Hotel

It is a quaint property with cosy rooms. While the room itself wasn't very big, it had everything required and promised. The biggest advantage is its location. Right opposite to Hyde Park, it is walking distance from multiple tube stations and Padington.

I stayed in the hotel for three days in September. The location of the hotel is good and the staff is friendly and courteous as well. I had complimentary breakfast on all three days which was quite average. It is an old property and it looks so. The furniture and furnishings are way too old. The chairs in the breakfast room were broken. But overall the maintenance and cleanliness in the hotel is good. My room was too small and the bed was even smaller. Same with the bathroom - too small. Also, I had someone knocking at my door at midnight which was scary. Overall experience was average. I would not like to come back again.

The Columbia Hotel is a good value hotel with good location near Hyde Park. Yes, room furnishing is a bit worn but it was very clean and has everything you need. The only negative point is the lack of wifi in the rooms. I would recommend if the price is right.

The Columbia Hotel is a good value The Columbia with good location near Hyde Park. Yes, room furnishing is a bit worn but it was very clean and has everything you need. The only negative point is the lack of wifi in the rooms. I would recommend if the price is right.
