We reached the hotel on saturday evening after arriving in london. Narsimha at the front / reservation desk told us that there is only one room available on the lower ground floor as the hotel is completely sold out. When we entered the room, there was some kind of pathetic smell in the room and the bed was completely worn out. Upon letting narsimha know our concern, he then offered us another room on the same lower ground floor which again had the same issue and had hair on the bed sheet which i highlighted to narsimha. I’d to literally tell him that we’d booked this 5-star hotel in london not to get such kind of pathetic experience. He then went up and got us another room allocated to us on the 2nd floor. Now this room was a little better than the previous ones, as this didn’t have that smell/odour. But the furniture was worn out and needed refurbishment. And the bed sheet had a big (light brownish) stain which we literally ignored cause we were very tired by then and we’d given up. I just told my wife that it’s just a question of a night as we’re moving to another 5-star hotel near buckingham palace in westminster. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone as one can get better 4-star or 5-star hotels options in central london.
