Overall very pleasant stay with the location being the biggest USP ..... very cheap parking too at 10 gbp a night ..... quite comfortable large rooms ..... breakfast spread could have been much better

Great Location Cozy Rooms Could have given water bottles in the room. Really was a trouble without drinking water in the room. Staff were friendly. A bit expensive given the services

Location of this hotel is fabulous. However, the service could be a little better. The room sizes are the washroom is small with the staff friendly and Curtis breakfast is average. It’s almost the same. Repeat it every day. There is no room service available and it looks more like a budget hotel though for the prize it’s expensive. However, around the hotel we have good restaurants. Street is nearby walking distance. Haymarket station is also nearby hotel as a 3.5 on 5

The location was perfect, the room was good. Negatives: 1. No drinking water provided. Though other hotels in UK provided bottled) canned water. 2. No dental kit, vanity kit etc were provided 3. There was no hand shower. Shower had very little water pressure. It was so frustrating. 4. Room was not cleaned properly. 5. Staff was rude 6. Lifts to the floors were too slow and frustrating 7. Airconditioner used to shut off automatically in the night. We had to get up and switch it on 2-3 times each night. Except the location everything was poor. It is certainly not a 4* property, infact it does not deserve any star rating. We paid approx £900, and regret each & every penny spent on the hotel. Booking portals must consider delisting this property from their portals and save their customers from spoiling their vacation in beautiful city- Edinburgh.

It was a nice stay. Quite and comfortable.

It was a pleasant stay. It is close to the haymarket station, but ends up being slightly far from the city centre. There are no issues in getting to the city center. The staff is good and co operative. Taxi service is available within 5 mins of request. Food options are many, but lesser options for the pure vegetarian people. Rooms are relatively smaller, and it can take a lot of time to get to the room from the lobby since the lifts are only a few.

Only location is positive aspect; lady at reception was rude; reluctant in providing basic amenities that should automatically be given with such a costly booking; washbasin in bathroom was above toilet; not comfortable for senior citizens

A good place to stay for a short stay in edinburgh, with an excellent location near the old town as well as the railway station. The rooms are well maintained and quite comfortable, and the hotel also offered us a cloak room to store our luggage after we had checked out.

We had a pleasant stay here. Hotel's location, decor and ambiance is really good. Worth every penny must say.

Excellent Hotel location brilliant

One of the best Hotel in heart of the City in Windermere. Excellent rooms with well mannered staff. Lots of Indian and halal Restaurant in radius of 10 minutes walking. Recommended for family with kids
