Good Hotel, Great Location

The hotel is in great location, many attractions are in walkable distance. We stayed in this hotel from Apr 1st to 3rd and 5th to 8th Apr 2025 One thing we got to know after checking in is that Taxis are not allowed on the hotel street from 10am to 7pm which meant we had to carry the luggage and walk to the main road which is 200 meters away. Hotel staff was supportive and helped us change to a bigger room. The rooms were clean and toilet was recently renovated Carpet in rooms and passages are aged and stained We had to pay the hotel to leave behind 4 bags as we couldn't carry all the luggage to Cappadocia and back. Breakfast was a good spread, riverside view was beautiful. Plenty of restaurants just outside of the hotel

The property location is very good close to the main touristic areas like aya sophia, blue mosque, grand bazar, and gulhana palace. The restaurants have very nice views but way expensive. The turkish bath is average and overrated, paid 150 euros for turkish bath and massage. The rooms are ugly and outdated from the 1900 with no renovation. Only the lobby is renovated. Guest relations were helpful, especially sama, with arranging the turkish night and transportation to another location, though the driver was late for the booked timing.

Hotel location is very convenient. Standard room is pretty small but has requisite amenities. Breakfast is of good quality and adequate variety. Stuff in general are helpful and hospitable but lacks a bit of warmth and smiles.
