Amazing Swiss Vacation

Absolutely amazing location, on the river bank… my room’s garden balcony was on river bank… I am happy to stay here again and again… 10 min walk from Interlaken Ost Station

It was the best and most scenic hotel of Interlaken, situated right on the banks of Lake Brienz. And gives you a stunning view of the snowy peaks throughout the day. The restaurant is also really good, especially for Indians since they provide very tasty Indian cuisines at a competitive price.

Room was nice clean and spacious and food was delicious. The toilets were clean. Reaching here is a bit difficult for elderly,but location is amazing.

Comfortable stay at a walking distance from Interlaken Ost!

The room is at a walking distance of 15-20 mins from Interlaken Ost station. Property is easy to locate and they helped us with storing our luggage when we arrived before our check-in time. The room was small, nice and clean. The hotel has an Indian restaurant and the food was decent. Harder Klum is at a walking distance from the property. if you have bigger suitcases and luggage, walking to this property might be slightly challenging. over all, it was a decent stay considering that we were out most of the time and came to the room only for sleeping!

Choosing river village is a biggest mistake m.

It was not a pleasant stay in this hotel, firstly its located very far off from railway station in difficult to approach after dark. Rooms are small neat but corridoors have no light, hotel owner is also not helpful, does not care guests al all, most of the time we found reception and dining hall closed, the tariff was non refundable, so even if we wanted to cancel booking we couldnt for they refused to return money. My advise would be to opt for any other hotel in interlaken than river village hotel.
