I recently stayed at the ceylon lake view residency in kandy for two nights. The hotel's location is excellent, offering a beautiful view of the lake from my room's balcony and easy access to city center and temple of the relic tooth of buddha. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The room, however, felt a bit old-fashioned and could benefit from some updates, and unfortunately, the locker in the room was not working. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was good. They also arranged for a car with a very humble and experienced driver for my day's trip to sigiriya a nice touch was that the staff kindly packed breakfast for us on the morning of our departure, as we had an early train to catch at 6:15 am to colombo. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with attentive staff, and i would consider staying here again for the great location and service.
