Crammed rooms and lack of trust

I had almost a fortnight’s stay at this place in connection with a business travel. I continued to stay primarily because of the proximity to the work else. I have these observations, the hotel's location is in the centre of Jakarta, the stay at the hotel is very nice and friendly. The issue I have is (1)Even though the entire payment for the stay is paid upfront, the hotel still insists for a deposit from you for keeping the small fridge open with small eateries not worth the name. This is clear lack of trust. (2)The room doesn’t come cheap it costs you but is so crammed especially when you have one big bag for a fortnight stay. (3)The morning breakfast has a very sound spread continental, Chinese, Thai, English, fruit, etc. but what it lack is there is no Indian food at all.

Backyard facing room upgraded to city facing room

The Superior room that I checked in to was not clean and the toilet commode had the thick lining of fungus. I was then upgraded to the City facing deluxe room but both these rooms have a very old decor, may be the decor the hotel has from 1st day of comm ironing. Deluxe room was good. The staff is polite and courteous. Passage to the pool is again very old and needs renovation. Other areas of hotel were clean and neat. Pullman has grand lobby.

Average hotel, but bit expensive. Service was not that great as I had to request couple of times for rectifying plumbing issues in the bathroom. A bit expensive considering the service however good location

Best Pullman ever stayed. Good food, good vegetarian. Food also service was slow but no problem good. Location good, pastries they have their own backers price wise is high compared to others. Overall, except for pricing everything was good.
