Legendary stay. Absolutely loved it. Best of all!

Been to more than 50 countries and have to proudly say that Zhiwa Ling had to be one of the most loved and special properties I have been to. Next to the River which is at a walkable distance the multi acre green property is nested in mountains and clouds. It makes for a perfect setting for someone looking for a special and peaceful time away. Awe-inspiring architectural beauty all over the rooms, lobby. Spa services were top-notch and complete value for money. We would recommend for sure. Food options took care of our dietary requirements and for early morning flight they even packed us a breakfast. The price point was sweet too and well I fail to count the positives. There is stream going through the beautiful setting. From the room there are views of the River and mountains. I Am staying here again at Zhiwa. By the way tiger nest trek start is small drive away which was our main consideration while booking this resort but such was the experience that we completely forgot to mention about it. Keep it up the team. No matter you are National GEOGRAPHIC's lodges of the world. It made me check them out once!

The property and location are fantastic, but for the proximity to the Road behind. Dogs in the premises, hindered movement early in the morning and at night was a bit scared to take a stroll. They were friendly when nearby, but there barking to distant movements was. The reception staff were very cordial and punctual in their response. The meditation hall is excellent but poorly maintained. In the 1st floor the National geography collection was exceptional. The interior and exterior of the structures is exceptional. Food was great and the quality top grade. Overall a wonderful experience and will recommend to my friends and family.

The Hotel is designed on the basis to give you a Bhutanese taste of ambiance. Beautifully made place. Fantastic view of the river. We booked 2 junior suites. We were given room nos 11, 13. On 1st floor and other on ground floor. It was a cottage surrounded by weeping walls and an unhindered view of the Paro Chhu and mountains. An extremely beautiful place, very courteous staff, the size of room is huge with a reading area, balcony and sitting area too. Extremely spacious rooms and bathrooms would love to stay again at this place.
