Beautiful property but boring, bad food

Pros - beautiful beach and views from the rooms. Overwater spa is very maldives style. Cons - breakfast was same on both days, and below average. Pool is not temperature controlled, very limited restaurant and in room dining options. Can get a bit boring for families. Better go to restaurants of other hotels on vinpearl island, there are 5 hotels overall. Also the private pool in the villa is unusable as the water is cold. And being on the backside of the room doesn't have much of a view either.
