The hotel is placed in a convenient location and it’s easy to access the tourist spots. During the first day of the three day stay, the room allotted was sub standard and both the available sinks were clogged. The maintenance tried to resolve this issue but was not successful. Then at 8 pm , o was told that the maintenance staff have gone for the day as their work hours were over. We were left with no solution till next day morning 8.30 am. Even after the second attempt, the problem was not resolved and it was very inconvenient to is because we had no place to even brush tooth. When I contacted the front desk for a change of room, they did not take any responsibility and did not allot another room. After o escalated the issue to the hotel manager, he provided me another room with lot of persuasion. Even when another in room was available, they showed no hurry to help me. This is completely unacceptable. O wish the MMT takes this up with the hotel and arrange to get me compensated for a days stay. Would appreciate a revert please.

There was unhappy experience while our stay at this property, as the front desk person was not cooperative and he didn't even allow us to sit there in the lobby area. Also they didn't provide a bottle of glass of drinking water. Moreover they didn't provide room services. very small kichen , coffee machine is not working and the front desk person denied to provide an induction or hot plate for preparing meals.

I went to chicago for a short trip with my friends and they asked me to book this hotel. Hotel location is quite good for indians as they have indian restaurants nearby. It is located in downtown and it’s close to almost all the stores that you wish for. It’s an old hotel but the rooms were clean and had all amenities. Overall a good stay

Perfect location if running the Chicagho marathon

Travelodge is basically at the door of grant Park. So if you are planning on seeing the bean, the Millenium Park and the mccormick convention center, you are in the right place. The hotel is old and could be noisy if you got the front facing rooms because of the trains. The hotel is close to Lasalle Station of the blue line which makes going to and from the Airport very easy. Getting Around is also easy because it is in the center. Staff and service is good and the restaurant at the ground floor serves good breakfast! Will return definitely!
