The location was good but the hotel service and quality was really disappointing. Basics like a tissue box was missing in the room, we had a double bed in our room with which they have a tiny blanket without a cover. If you drink the 2 small bottles of water provided in your room and then call to ask more, they’d say housekeeping keeps 2 daily in the room, if you want you can get the paid ones from the restaurant. We called to ask for an iron for clothes and we got it after 3 hours, 5 calls, and 2 visits to the reception and on every call they said 10 mins. ALSO, even if the breakfast is included in your stay (like us) don’t wake up for it, it was really below average and again missing basic items.

I had high hopes considering it was an MMT assured hotel. However there were many low points during the stay - Room size was ridiculously small, breakfast hardly had options, no in-house laundry facility (there wasn't even an iron available for the guest), complimentary water available only for the first night. Overall, I found the staff was not very courteous and willing to help. Considering, I stayed in two other hotels in Istanbul during the same week, I must say Grand Yavuz needs to better out their standard and services.

Its the best hotel in the locality, 8 minute walk to the nearest Tram Station, a very good Indian Restaurant, SWAD - on the way to the Tram Station, rooms are small and basic, good value for money.
