Beautiful property/ racist manager

The property is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. We had three sea facing rooms and stayed for 3 nights. Most of the staff is very helpful and courteous. The manager of the main restaurant however was very rude and racist and has zero manners towards indian guests. There were some lag in room service as well like it took them around 2 hours to get us wine glasses and one of the room’s bathroom was stinking like gutter on the last day of our stay. It was not fixed right away but we were provided with another room to shift to for the night. The spa and the pool of the hotel are the best part and of course the beach.

A piece of heaven

We stayed for 4 nights in anantara! it was a wonderful experience and what made our stay totally memorable was anthony - our room host. He was attentive to our every need and whim and made sure that our stay was entirely comfortable and memorable. Any issue or glitch was immediately and personally handled by anthony and he even organised restaurant bookings and transportation for us. We were a group of 6 celebrating our friends’ 25th wedding anniversary and anthony & his colleagues organised a great celebratory dinner for us. The staff from breakfast chefs to everyone at the coffee shop were so pleasant and made yummy hoppers. A special mention to their bakery and breads which were consistently delicious. Loved the breakfast juice bar. Pool side staff was very courteous and pool aerobics was fun. We enjoyed the gorgeous italian restaurant. I can’t get over the beautiful location overlooking the ocean. Our local cuisine dinners at verala were delicious. Opt for the ocean view rooms in the last block (no 5) as they have the best views.
