For the excuse given for not giving me the voucher for breakfast. Hence possibly I will choose a different hotel next time.
I was not given a breakfast voucher. Flimsy reason given is that I was staying there only one night. But I paid the room rate. Poor excuse.

The location on Galle road is appropriate owing to closeness to the beach and is surrounded by good departmental stores. The service quality was good though I didn't have food at the hotel, so can't comment on that.

The 3 star rating for this hotel is completely wrong. 1 star is more appropriate. 1. Hotel was not able to find our reservation. Took 30 minutes to resolve. 2. Rooms were stinking. Got housekeeping to spray the room twice in a day. 3. Found cockroaches in the bathroom. 4. Internet very bad. 20 calls in 2 days to resolve the network issue were made. 5. Room service slower then snail. 45 minutes, 4 calles and one visit to bad to get ice bucket. 6. Dinner service - bad - half of the drinks never received after multiple reminders. Good quality bad. 7. Breakfast equally bad, had to ask many times for cups, spoons, food items. 8. Spoke to duty manager and sales manager who took no initiative to resolve issues.

The hotel is very good and the service is excellent. They have arranged for the pickup at midnight and also a warm welcome on the midnight. The breakfast is really up to the taste of the Indian. It is a great hotel when it comes to hospitality and cleanliness. But the thing which disappointed me the most is the television screen size and the cable clarity. It was a 17 inch old model television and the picture quality is too bad with grains and disturbances. Moreover, I found one staff at the restaurant to be a little rude as he was just nodding his head when we ask something.

The location and the lobby are good rest are bad enough to rate. Bad smell coming out of the room, when I asked for a blanket no blanket in the room their house keeping person advised me to switch off the AC. Finally I convince him and he come with a blanket with bad smell coming out of it. the curtains are dirty - may be not cleaned for months. After I complain they changed my room to executive class a better room but same bad service. Bad odor coming out of the corridor. I will never recommend this hotel at this price point to anyone.
