I stayed at other hotels near kyoto station which had spacious rooms and better services. The room is also small in comparison to the prices paid in kyoto. I liked the other hotel way too much than this one.

Lovely place, nice rooms and courteous staff.

Close to Kyoto station and all tourist spots. The rooms was spacious and easily accommodated three of us. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast room was large and beautiful with good spread of food. I highly recommend this hotel and will return to stay when I visit Kyoto next.

Excellent and totally satisfied We had a small baby and we had such a large bed( that’s very rare to find in Japanese business hotels) We had free handy for calls, maps and sightseeing. In nearby Doris, we had 3-4 Indian restaurants. So no problem at all.

Great location wrt food and transport and proximity to key tourist spots. The room and amenities were great value for money too. While the hotel boasts of three restaurants, we were content to discover local eateries within walking distance. Recommend strolling around - the smaller streets nearby are lovely and you will find some great food.

Great location wrt food and transport and proximity to key tourist spots. The room and amenities were great value for money too. While the Hotel Monterey Kyoto boasts of three restaurants, we were content to discover local eateries within walking distance. Recommend strolling around - the smaller streets nearby are lovely and you will find some great food.

Excellent and totally satisfied We had a small baby and we had such a large bed( that’s very rare to find in Japanese business Hotel Monterey Kyotos) We had free handy for calls, maps and sightseeing. In nearby Doris, we had 3-4 Indian restaurants. So no problem at all.

Close to Kyoto station and all tourist spots. The rooms was spacious and easily accommodated three of us. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast room was large and beautiful with good spread of food. I highly recommend this Hotel Monterey Kyoto and will return to stay when I visit Kyoto next.
