Terrible experience

I had one of the worst experiences in this Hotel. I had booked the Hotel for two nights. There was no air-conditioning in the room throughout my stay. The staff too was extremely bad. I'm not too petty about air conditioning but it was the peak of venetian summer. There wasn't anyone present at the Hotel except for a cleaner. When I asked her about the air conditioning, she told me that the manager controls it and at that moment he was at a gathering. She asked me to speak to him but she wouldn't give me his number as well. Later in the evening someone else at the reception told me that there was no air conditioning in all the rooms as it was off season and they're trying to cut cost. Which was bizarre as one of amenities in my room is air conditioning and in room climate control. I was sweating in my room throughout my stay. I didn't sleep well throughout the night due to the heat. When I opened the windows there were mosquitoes. Apart from the Hotel having no elevators and being quite a walk from the main Port of lido, the staff is either non existent or bad. Overall it was an absurd unpleasant and one of the most uncomfortable experience.
