Budget hotel with some serious issues

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel in Budapest for 2 days during our 15 days Europe trip in Aug'17. Would like to list down some pros & cons of this hotel (views are strictly personal) Pros: 1. Location is very good in terms of connectivity to the whole city. You can access the M2 metro line + Tram 1 running right from outside the hotel (within a minute's walk). Budapest-Keleti station is about 1. 8km from the hotel. You can walk 2. Rooms were tidy and clean Cons: 1. The hotel had a swimming pool for complimentary use. It was VERY DIRTY and water was totally turbid. Had itching all over my body after using the same. Never again! 2. Some staff at reception were quite rude. While checking out, I was informed about some 'city tax' which was to be paid. When I asked for some document where the rates and amount were written, first they tried to avoid showing the same. When confronted, the reception staff rudely said that 'we do not have to pay anything. Thank you'. This was a bit odd 3. Walk to the hotel from Tram-1 station is about 200m and the road was scattered with vagabonds drinking alcohol/beer on the street and giving me & my wife weird looks. It was about 6:30 pm in the evening. This may be OK for people in Budapest, but was quite uncomfortable for us. Would not recommend this walk after 7pm in the evening 4. Cost was very high for this hotel when compared to its standard & service. We paid approx. INR 4. 5k/night for very basic amenities & services.
