My husband and I stayed at the Golden Tulip Aix en Provence in October 2015. The Golden Tulip Aix en Provence is at a walkable 2km away from the centre. There is a bus stop in front of the Golden Tulip Aix en Provence for those who prefer to use public transport. The staff is very friendly and service is prompt. The room was big, by French standards and very clean. The mini refrigerator is very convenient, if you wish to buy groceries. We loved our stay.

The building itself and the room felt a bit old and requiring refurbishment, but the breakfast was very good, the Golden Tulip Aix en Provence was clean and had great value for money. It is some 15-20 min by foot from the very heart of the city and if needed a bus stop is nearby.
