ibis Sydney World Square

1. 1st alloted Room no. 1701 (family room) bathroom stinky worst view. 2. Shifted to room 1501 (family room) bathroom unclean got it cleaned the next day, no separate wet and dry area as shown in Pic. Requested at reception for change of room as shown in pics online. No response from the reception. 3. TV is a basic one didn't even support Netflix or anything. 5-6 local channels only. U cannot enjoy movie night with family in the family room. 4. TV was defective as the  volume was so low that there was no point watching. Some Kogan brand TV. 5. Has no house keeping service in as and when required basis.. Try not to spill any thing or dirty ur room. It will be cleaned the next day. 6. Room alloted was not as per the images shown on website... 100% deceiving images. 7. Reception was informed twice to provide the proper room but they were asking me to follow them up..ultimately I had to stay in same room. 8. The room might make u feel claustrophobic as there was no single openable window for ventilation not even see through windows. 9. Air con was fixed at 20 degrees.. We either had to turn it off or put it back on.. 10. Iron was broken.. 11. The refrigerator provided in the room turn off when u leave.. So no point using the refrigerator once u have left the room and u are going to come back after a whole day out all ur items in it wil be ruined. All in all this is the worst room I have stayed at this expesinve price point. I would suggest that one should go for other hotels in the area.. If at all u wish to stay at ibis, and happen to get a claustrophobic room like this after paying a lot of money, make sure to ask them to give u the room u booked after viewing photos online floor 3 and 5 has family rooms donot go for 15 and 17 floor one. It has telephone antenas installed.

The place and location is excellent but had to face a lot of issues due to the lifts not working (one lift didn’t work during the entire duration of the stay)

Good experience, convenient location, good hospitality. Stations are nearby hence commute becomes easy.

Location, food, services was excellent the mattress can be little better hopefully only my room was like that ( 1010. Anyway it has helped not lying down for long!

Very neat and clean, hygienic and well maintained with all necessary amenities. Excellent location, everything nearby. Coles supermarket is adjacent.

The staff was excellent ! located right in the heart of town with good eateries and cool bars. Would recommend for anyone looking to spend few nights exploring sydney.

It's a decent, clean & cosy property in the heart of Sydney city. Support staffs were quite supportive & accommodating of any reasonable requests. I had a Hassle-free early check-in experience despite any prior intimation from my end- I greatly value & appreciate it! Most importantly, public transports like light rail, metro & public parks, e.g. Hyde, are all within walking distance. Total value for money!! 👍🏻

The room was fine. But the breakfast was terrible. No options at all. The staff at the restaurant were rude and did not even acknowledge on any asks. They do not refill fruits or they do not honor the made to order dishes they promised. The food was cold and tasteless. It’s better to choose only room and not opt for breakfast. Room too is little expensive for the money you pay

I was traveling alone. The location of the hotel is great, facilities are okay (decent, but not great. Felt the breakfast could have been better. View from the hotel windows isn't great, but for a solo traveler it's okay. Size of room is also small, which is why this may not be the best choice for families.

Ibis world Square is located in the midst of the bustling market area, next to Darling Harbour and CBD. Very easy to walk around to various places from this hotel. Town Hall train station is only 5 minutes away which made commute quite easy. Rooms are basic and clean though the AC could have been a bit better maintained. Staff is friendly. A good option for staying in main Sydney.

Great location, in between Central and Museum station. Many restaurants(including Indian) nearby. Many attractions are also at walkable distance. Room and bathroom are big with furniture. BF is only bread, rusk, juice and coffee.

I spent 4 nights here on a business trip. The location is good and accessible. The in-house food service is quite limited but you have options outside.

Did not turn out good. Almost same amount was getting used and that is way much better, bad.

Hotel is in CBD area so all places were nearby

We have stayed in Ibis, Sydney. As per tariff, We have paid with breakfast but the hotel informed my bookings only room.

This hotel is centrally situated and very convenient as there are lot of food options and shopping places near by. It is also very convenient to reach all the tourist attractions of Sydney from here. Rooms are very neat and friendly staff. Breakfast is very basic. Definitely value for money.
