Sunway Hotel Putra Kuala Lumpur

The staffs in this property have awful service. The breakfast doesn’t have multi-cuisine options as it offers to serve. Behaviour and hospitality is just not there. You need to pay RM 28 for a filtered water and not a packaged drinking water which is not acceptable from a 5 star grade hotel.

Had an excellent stay and would recommend the hotel. It is easily accessible, food options are good & stay are very friendly.

The experience at Sunway Putra Hotel was so good. They alloted good rooms to us. As a hotel, they are good in terms of luxury and the breakfast was really nice.

Stayed there from 27sep 2025- October 1 for 4 nights. The hotel boasts an excellent location, seamlessly connected to the namesake mall and the Rapid KL LRT station, providing easy access to public transportation. Major attractions are conveniently reachable via direct or connecting trains, minimizing the need for taxis or buses. The hotel lobby creates a welcoming first impression, but the rooms could benefit from better maintenance. The couch in our room was in poor condition, and the bed linens and towels need upgrading. On a positive note, the room was impressively spacious. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options for non-vegetarians, but vegetarian choices were limited. Daily offerings included dosa, idli, and upma/poha, with occasional additions like aloo poori (though not authentic poori) or vegetables with paratha. A bread basket was also available. overall a good stay

They have a good spread of breakfast, location is good and it is on top of a shopping mall. Room is nicely decorated. You can ask for a view of the twin towers.

location is excellent, but staff service especially the front office as well as security is pathetic. they are arrogant , indifferent and rude . even if u complain they are not bothered and no senior staff is available. very disappointed.

Convenient location next ti metro and Mall, smooth and quick check-in and check-out. Good breakfast, very comfortable room, friendly staff. Over-all a great stay.

I had a pleasant stay at Sunway Putra Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The location is superb—right next to the PWTC station and connected to a mall, making dining and shopping extremely convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. Staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of local and international options. The pool and gym facilities were also well-maintained. Overall, it’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort and accessibility in the city.

Excellent location and service. Well appointed and spacious rooms. Got cot for our toddler as requested. The food is especially tasty and portions are very filling. We tried their in room dining, Nusantara and the pastry/ cake shop as well. Staff is courteous everywhere.

Charged extra for kid, but at the time of booking it's mentioned that free for kid. Thought I have mentioned number of kids and number of adults and it was booked according. But at the venue I have incurred extra. They were struggling to provide dring water as well. Drinking water was also chargeable

My stay at Sunway Putra Hotel was fantastic! From the warm hospitality to the stunning views and comfortable rooms — every detail was just perfect. A truly refreshing experience in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommended!

We arrived late in the evening; so the room assigned to us was the one left with them, the room didn't match with the picture, it was very small and suffocating. there was no space to walk also. The staff was courteous to shift us to another room which was very good in size. MMT has mentioned that the room has wooden flooring but none of the room has wooden flooring; it has carpet which I find a little unhygienic. MMT also mentioned there will be bathrobes but there werent any. Good thing is Indian menu is available in breakfast menu. Rooms are clean.

It was such a great experience at this hotel, the staff were so nice. It was the best service would definitely recommend.

Great Ambiance, fantastic service, neat and clean environment. All the Staffs are courteous. Malay Food is great both the Alacart & buffet are fine.

Overall facilities are good. Room size and view are good.Gym and Swimming pool facility is good. Improvement required for breakfast management.

Very bad in terms of service, Food quality. The only average thing was room which were old school but still decent. but their service lacks any standard. Even for a spoon you have to earn ages and they will charge you for the same. If you are a vegetarian, there are hardly any items in breakfast which are actually good and most of them get over by 9 am (which was a strange thing)

Excellent hospitality and sweet natured . Stay was commendable and adorable. Every thing asked was on the fingertips .
