Money Extortion on Pre-Text of Security

The hotel took a security deposit of 1000 Baht each room. And when we were checking out they asked for 500 baht for a mildly soiled towel, certainly a practice that I witnessed for the first time. When we confronted the manager she said it’s the laundry fee for cleaning a towel. This looked like an entire case of manipulation to extorting money. After a long tiff and wait, she gave a clearance after deducting 200 Baht.

You book a hotel for a peaceful sleep but this was exactly the opposite. Their room curtains are made in such a way that you cannot control a sunlight coming on your bed directly even if the curtains are drawn because of a big gap between curtain and a window. Honestly, i regret staying here. My toddler could not sleep after a sunrise. Never ever coming back again for sure. You too will regret staying here, avoid them.

We travelled as a family and the hotel was absolutely brilliant. It's precisely what we were looking for in a hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful at all times. The breakfast spread was fantastic but a few more options for vegetarians would've been appreciated. We were given an early check-in which was absolutely fantastic since we reached Bangkok very early. The view from the infinity pool is majestic and they have a great gym as well. Located in the heart of Bangkok, The Residence at Thonglor is a 5 On 5 property. Cheers.

Good rooms but breakfast has no Indian food despite requested. Renovation going on but not given room on other floor. They must have kept, as we already informed. Location is too inside of Main Sukhumvit Road.
